a bigger barn
6x6 inch, oil paints and cold wax on painting board
a bank barn- having a lower level built into a hillside, and in this view we can see the access door to the bottom level. This barn is larger than normal, seeming to have a second level and a third, as well as the usual hayloft- essentially four stories. A side isle (extension) on the left, with what looks to be a separate, much smaller barn with it’s own side aisle, further on the left. Probably a very productive farm back in the day, judging by the huge amount of storage area.
we pass this farm on a hot day early in the summer, resting quietly in the heat.
A Chester County farm sitting on a hill in West Bradford township.
Framed in a dark mahogany floater frame, ready for tabletop display or it can be hung on the wall as an accent piece.
